Transitions VI

The latest generation of Transitions Lenses is here! Transitions VI was recently launched and the response has been fantastic. The lenses get clearer indoors than previous generations (change back time has decreased by 4 minutes for grey and 5 minutes for brown lenses) and darker outdoors (10% for grey and 15% for brown). And when combined with an anti-reflective lens, glare is virtually eliminated because they change with light conditions. They also protect 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. And considering that most of our UV exposure occurs before we are 18 year old, this office always recommends Transition lenses to children. Drivewear Lenses

Do you love your transition lens but get frustrated when they are not dark enough behind the wheel of a car? Younger Optics and Transitions have recently paired up to produce the best possible lens designed specifically for driving! Drivewear Lenses are polarized lenses that help alleviate glare but also "change" color to accommodate for various light conditions while driving. Unlike standard Transitions that use UV light to darken, Drivewear lenses use UV and light to darken accordingly. So whether it is a bright sunny day or overcast, the lenses will give you the right amount of contrast and eliminate glare at the same time.
